What to watch out for

This is the hardest kind of AI product to get right and the least forgiving of failure — you are teaching a real child, and a confidently wrong explanation does damage. Safety, age-appropriateness and factual accuracy are not features you add later; they are the product. Expect to spend as much effort on guardrails and pedagogy as on the model, and to earn parents' trust slowly.
