What is Vertos Social?
Vertos Social is the community feed built into the Vertos marketplace — the place where the people buying and selling software actually talk to each other. Instead of quietly scrolling listings, buyers can say exactly what they want and sellers can share what they're shipping, all in one live feed alongside the marketplace.
How it works
- Buyers post a request. Start a post with "I'm looking for…" and describe the project, skill, or acquisition you want. Sellers see it and come to you.
- Sellers share updates. Post progress on what you're building, run a quick poll, or attach one of your listings to put it in front of active buyers.
- Everyone can join in. Reading is open to all; like and comment with a free account to keep the conversation going.
- Keep it genuine. No spam and no repetitive self-promotion — the feed stays useful because it's real.
For buyers: let sellers come to you
Can't find the exact project you want in Browse? Post a buyer request. A single "I'm looking for…" post reaches every seller on Vertos, so the right builder can reach out with exactly what you need — a finished product to acquire, a project in your niche, or the person who built it.
For sellers: build an audience before you sell
Sellers with a live listing can post updates, run polls, and share their projects with the community. It's the fastest way to warm up buyers before a sale, gather feedback on what to build next, and stay visible between listings.
Vertos Social, answered
What is Vertos Social?
Vertos Social is the community feed built into the Vertos marketplace. It's where buyers post what they're looking for, sellers share updates about what they're building, and everyone buying and selling software can connect in one place.
Who can post on Vertos Social?
Reading Vertos Social is open to everyone. To post, like, or comment you need a free Vertos account. Any signed-in member can post a buyer request, and sellers with an active listing can also share updates, run polls, and attach one of their listings to a post.
What is a buyer request?
A buyer request is a short post that starts with “I'm looking for…” It lets a buyer describe the project, skill, or acquisition they want — a finished dashboard, a newsletter to buy, a technical co-founder — so that sellers come to them instead of the other way around.
What can sellers post?
Sellers with a live listing can share updates about what they're building, run quick polls to get feedback from the community, and attach one of their own listings to a post to put it in front of active buyers.
Do Vertos Social posts stay up forever?
No. To keep the feed current and useful, community posts are automatically removed after 45 days. Vertos Social is a live conversation, not a permanent archive or a backup of your content.
Is Vertos Social free?
Yes. Reading, posting, liking, and commenting on Vertos Social are all free with a Vertos account. It's included with the marketplace — there's nothing extra to buy.
